Lawrence “Larry” Raymond Ronnebaum, 68, of Brookville died on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at his residence.
Larry was born in Batesville on April 11, 1950, to Bernard and Joyce Bohlke Ronnebaum. He graduated from Batesville High School with the Class of 1968. Following graduation, Larry joined the Air Force and honorably served his country. Larry worked construction and had been employed with the Bruneman Construction Company. Larry was a member of the Wilburn Dennison VFW Post # 2014 of Brookville and the Bernard Hurst American Legion Post # 77 of Brookville. He enjoyed helping with the fried chicken dinners and hanging out with his friends at the VFW.
Larry is survived by two sisters: Teresa Ziegler (husband Bob) of Batesville and Carol Becker of Brookville; three brothers: Jim Ronnebaum of Batesville, John Ronnebaum (wife Lisa) of Batesville, and Ken Ronnebaum (wife Brigid) of Batesville; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at St. Mary’s of the Rock Church with Father Carl Langerderfer officiating.. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s of the Rock Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites by the Wilburn Dennison VFW Post #2014 of Brookville. Friends may visit at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville, on Friday, March 29, 2019, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Rosary will be at 4:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Wilburn Dennison VFW Post #2014, Bernard Hurst American Legion Post # 77, or St. Mary’s of the Rock Cemetery.
