Lawrenceburg, IN—According to Dearborn County Prosecutor Lynn Deddens, Brian David Lanphier,57, was convicted in the Dearborn County Superior Court on Tuesday, October 22 of Operating While Intoxicated. After a day and a half jury trial, the Jury only took 30 minutes to find Lanphier guilty of Operating While Intoxicated causing Endangerment, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of 0.08 % or more, a Class C Misdemeanor.
Deddens praised the jury for considering hours of testimony and for so quickly reaching a verdict, as well as the professional work of the Greendale Police, High Point Health, and the Department of Toxicology.
