Lamping Announces Retirement

(Batesville, IN) – Sarah Lamping has announced she is retiring from the City of Batesville, effective April 3.

Lamping has served the city for approximately 12 years, most recently as Economic Development Director.

During her tenure, she has supported a range of initiatives focused on business development and community growth.

Mayor John Irrgang thanked Lamping for her service to the community.

“Sarah has been a steady and committed member of our team for more than a decade,” said Irrgang. “We appreciate her work on behalf of Batesville and wish her the very best in retirement.”

City leaders have a transition plan in place to ensure continuity in economic development efforts.
