Franklin County High School Girls Varsity Volleyball beat Milan High School 3-1. 25-17, 25-12, 19-25, 25-11
Another great night of volleyball and we got to play at home!! We hosted Milan tonight and won in 4 sets. The girls played very well for the fact that we ran a 5-1 without ever practicing it!! I knew they could accomplish it, I just had to convince them that they could. This team is continuing to amaze me with every game and every practice!! Rachel Bischoff had a team-high of 6 ace serves with 4 of them in a row during the 3rd set while serving 5 times!! Rachel also had 2 kills, 1 block and 2 digs. Kelsey Vail had a team-high with 8 consecutive service points and 1 ace serve and 1 dig. Audrey Reister had 1 ace serve, 11 assists, 1 kill. Makyah Richardson had 1 ace serve, 6 kills, 9 blocks, and 1 dig. Jalynn Rogers had 1 ace serve and 4 digs. Charlotte Barrett had 2 kills, 1 block, and 4 digs. Rae Ertel had 1 kill and 1 dig. Saige Mergenthal had 1 kill and 1 block. Alex Gillman had 2 blocks and 1 kill. Mercedez Waddell had 1 block.
We are on the uphill climb!!! Let’s keep this going girls!!! We are FC!!! JV and Varsity will travel to EIAC Greensburg this Saturday, Sept. 14th. We would love to see you at the game!!!

Franklin County JV Volleyball team swept the Milan Indians in two sets last night at home. The team played great overall, we had awesome communication and coverage. Kacie Williams had 12 assists. Meredith Hoff, Josie Rolfes, and Alex Gillman had 4 kills each! So proud of this team.
This brings our record to 4-6 so far this season. Looking forward to our next game Saturday as we take on our EIAC opponent Greensburg!
