The Greensburg Lady Pirates traveled to EIAC foe and #16 class 2A ranked South Dearborn Thursday evening and lost 15-0.
It took the host Lady Knights only 50 seconds to open the scoring as they slashed to 8 first half goals. Quick movement, cut-back dribbling, solid spacing and crossing runs, passes lead to success throughout the evening for the home squad. Despite the score, improvement was shown for the Lady Pirates as they forced 8 offsides calls and had better positioning on the evening. Emily Lowe made 19 saves in the contest and Abby Easley recorded the only shot of the evening while the Lady Knights had 45 total shots, 34 were on goal.
In the JV half, the host squad won 4-0. The Lady Pirates will travel to Union County Saturday morning for a 10 AM kickoff.
