The Franklin County traveled to Greensburg for an EIAC conference match on Thursday (4-26). Heading into the match, both teams found themselves tied atop the conference with undefeated records. Neither team had much rest or time to prepare for this match due to matches on Wednesday. Franklin County fortunately showed no signs of fatigue as they kept the pressure up on their opponents throughout the match. After yet another three hour match at #2 singles, Franklin County was able to come out with a 4-1 victory and take sole possession of the top spot in the conference. The team along with #1 Singles Lilli Stewart and #3 Singles Lauren Klei are now 10-0 (5-0 in EIAC).Franklin County will be back on the courts again Friday, April 27, at home against another conference opponent, East Central.
