The Wildcats bats didn’t make the long trip to New Castle on Thursday night as Franklin County fell to New Castle 10-0. The Wildcats were only able to muster 2 hits throughout the contest and also got two more runners on base via walks.
Kelsie Patton threw a complete game for the Trojans and recorded 12 strikeouts in five innings pitched.
The Wildcats two lone hits were from Morgan Bare and Camryn Brewer, both singles.
Franklin County’s record now sits at 7-10 on the season.
