The St. Louis Cardinals 7th Grade Volleyball team served a solid game to defeat the St. Michael’s Lady Trojans 25-15, 25-13. Kate Weber and Isabelle Wonnell led the team with 11 and 9 points respectively. Izzi Price, Maggie Beiser and Ella Moster served up 4 points each followed by Lilly Schebler and Catherine Streator with 2 points each and Ava Owens with 1 point. The team worked well transferring from offense to defense. Rhea Miller, Ingrid Tuveson and Lucy Abplanalp were great support on the court passing the ball to the setter so the offense could setup.
The 8th Grade Lady Cardinal St. Louis Volleyball team received their first win of the season by defeating the St. Michael’s Lady Trojans 18-25, 25-25-16, 15-13. Kate Weber served her best match with 16 points followed by Megan Raab 9 points, Audrey Beiser 5 points, Isabelle Wonnell 2 points and Mary Hunter & Lilly Schebler 1 point each. Emma Livers passed the ball solidly so Isabelle Wonnell could setup the offense. Beiser has the only kill of the night. The Cardinals worked hard and dug deep within side them to pull the win out against a well rounded team.
