The St. Louis 7th and 8th grade girls traveled to St. Michael’s and lost both.Scoring for St. Louis was Emma Weberding with 4pts, Alyssa Wanstrath, Olivia Raab, Ava Allen all had 2pts each. We played some tough D and pressed, but we were unable to stop them for the fast break points. We kept a positive spirit and left the score out of mind and aimed to get 10pts for us and we accomplished this and many more things. Way to have a great attitude ladies.
This game was a close one all the way through. Scoring for SLS were Pam Meneses with 16pts, Lauren Gutzwiller with 8pts, Grace Eckstein and Emma Weberding with 2pts each. For having a team that is ill and injured they do a great job. It is unfortunate that it has happened to our team this year.
All these girls played their hearts out and fought a great match up to the end. Good job ladies.
