Lady Bulldogs Volleyball

The Batesville Lady Bulldogs traveled to Milan on Saturday for the Ripley County Tourney.
Both JV and Varsity Lady Bulldogs were victorious and brought the trophies back to Batesville.

The JV championship match was a hard-fought battle against South Ripley. The Bulldogs won in 3 sets: 20-25, 25-15, 15-12.
Leading stats:
Brooke Wilhelm led in serving with 3 aces.
Cora Roth followed with 2 aces.
Anya Richey led the team in kills with 12.
Brooke Wilhelm set a solid game with 20 assists.

The Varsity team beat the Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagles in 3 sets: 25-19, 25-12, 25-22.
Maddie Haskamp was a wall of defense stopping the Lady Eagles.
Grace Walter played a nice offensive game to help beat the Lady Eagles in 3 sets.

In the championship game, the Lady Bulldogs faced the Lady Milan Indians.
The Bulldogs won in 3 sets: 25-6, 25-17, 25-22.
It was a great team effort to get the win.

The Lady Bulldogs will face East Central Trojans in a conference match on Tuesday, September 12th, @ home.
