The BMS 8th grade volleyball team defeated Jac-Cen-Del 25-16, 25-17.
The team played aggressively with 31 attacks that led to 8 kills. Kaylie Raver led with 4 kills, Margaret Wilson added 2 kills and a block. Kaylin Hinners, Laura Schwegman, and Hannah Gunter each added a kill. The team continued with strong serving. Renee Lecher led with 12 points including 6 aces. Raver had 8 service points with 4 aces. Sara Lamping had 6 serving points with 3 aces. Wilson added 3 service points; all aces. Calli Fletcher contributed 2 service points and Hinners had 1 point. Their record is 1-1.
