The 7th Grade BMS Volleyball team played in the Championship game of the EIC tournament vs South Dearborn. The team came out sluggish in game one and lost 25-8. They recovered quickly and played a solid second game an won 25-23. The team improved with good passing and hustle. Game three was a close game, but Batesville fell 15-10. Top servers were Margaret Wilson led with 8 points. Elana Keisel had 6 points, while Annie Shane added 3 points. From the front line Kaylin Hinners had 2 kills. Each adding a kill were Annie Shane, Laura Schwegman, and Sara Lamping. Also playing hard for the team were Renee’ Lecher and Taylor Blanton. They end the season with a record of 6-8.
