The average national gas price is $3.43 a gallon Friday, seven cents cheaper than a month ago and eleven cents cheaper than Labor Day 2013.
Experts say we could see a slight increase over the weekend but the rates still remain at its lowest in four years.
The average cost of a gallon of gas in Indiana is $3.54. You can find it cheaper locally as most gas stations are in the range of $3.34 to $3.36 Friday.
International tensions in the Middle East and Russia has not led to a gas price hike as of yet, experts added.
