In girls varsity soccer Thursday, Batesville defeated Rushville 8-1. Elena Kuisel scored five goals for the Lady Bulldogs. Billie Puente netted two while Haley Lipps and Bella Britch each tallied one. Olivia Kneueven was credited for a pair of assists while Billie Puente had one. BHS is now 3-0.
