Kimberly Lee Pope, 61, Greensburg

Kimberly “Kim” Lee Pope, 61, of Greensburg, Indiana, passed away at her home on January 31, 2026. She was born on September 2, 1964, in Kentucky, the daughter of George and Doris (Fightmaster) Pope.

Kim grew up in Greensburg and graduated from Greensburg High School in 1982. She later worked in the dietary department at Heritage House for several years, where she was known for her kindness, dependability, and the warm smile she shared with residents and staff alike.

Creative at heart, Kim enjoyed puzzles, arts and crafts, and was always eager to share her creations with others. She had a generous spirit, often giving gifts simply to brighten someone’s day. Putting others first came naturally to her, and she found her greatest joy in her family—especially her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by her sons, Joe (Amanda) Pope and Christian Pope; her five beloved grandchildren; and her brother, Charles “Woody” (Kristina) Pope.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Doris Pope, and her sister, Georgia DeLynn Goodpastor.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg, Indiana. A funeral service will follow the time of visitation starting at 2:00 PM, also at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made to the family.

Kim will be remembered for her gentle heart, her creativity, and the love she freely gave to those around her.
