Kimberly Ann Edmondson-55 of North Vernon

A soul filled to bursting with spirit laid down for the last time on February 5th, 2026. As the sun rose on that cold snowy day, Kimberly Ann Edmondson (Colvin) rode upon the sunshine to a more peaceful place. Kim was more than a wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, or sister. She was everything to those who loved her, she gave herself completely and should be remembered as someone larger than this earth. Full of laughs, great hugs, and shoulders to cry on, she will live on in many hearts. She was a caregiver for many, a stand in mom when needed, and her grandchildren’s greatest cheerleader. To have known Kim is to have known love and to be cherished. The laugh, hugs, and the presence may not be around anymore but the gift of love, the acts of service, and the 55 years of life will never fade. Her children want her to be remembered as the best mother, a smile in a dark place, someone in possession of her own style, someone who loved butterflies and the color blue, someone who loved tanning, Mountain Dew, coffee, and plants. She would want us to smile, to laugh, and to carry on loving and living. Kim is survived by her mother, Janet (Doug) Flint, her husband, Brian Thomas Edmondson, her children, Heather Edmondson, Ashley (Austin) Rittenhouse, Margaret (Michael) Ericksen, Hailey (Nick Smith) Edmondson, and Brian (Dalayna) Edmondson, her grandchildren, Owen, Jonathan, Grace, Gunnar, Amelia, Ezra, and Quinn, her sister, Annette Flint, her brother, Tobin Colvin, and sisters-in-law, Diane Bredewater, Pam Goodin, and Jenny Gabbard, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of a visitation or funeral there will be a celebration of life to be announced at a later date. Donations toward a headstone would be welcome and appreciated and can be given to the family at the time of the celebration of life. Bass & Gasper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.bassgasper.com.
