Keith Everett Yorn, age 57 of Batesville, IN passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at University of Cincinnati Hospital. The son of Charles and Helen (Powell) Yorn was born on July 17, 1965 in Batesville.
The 1984 Batesville High School graduate worked for worked for Gillman’s Maintenance. Keith married Bertha “Bev” Crockett in October 2005. He was a member of the Berean Baptist Church in Batesville.
Keith had spent many years being a handyman. He could fix anything that was broken. His passion was buying broken lawnmowers, fixing them up and reselling them. He was a collector of wheelhorse tractors and liked taking them to the tractor shows with his dad. He enjoyed spending all of his time with his family; especially, his granddaughters. You could always find him at Skyline or working in his garage. The things his family will miss the most about him is his sense of humor, his laugh and his kind loving heart. Keith never met a stranger and made a huge impact on every person he met. He will be extremely missed by all of his friends and family.
Keith is survived by his wife, Bev; daughter, Kristina Yorn (Cameron Hicks), Step-children, Jason Norman (Lacey), Vincent Norman, Aaron Norman and Cathy Walke; grandchildren, Kayleigh Hicks, Kenzie Hicks and Koko Hicks; his mother, Helen Yorn; siblings, Kelly Yorn, Kelvin Yorn, Carolyn Scheele (Edwin), Vickie Eckstein (Jerry), and Karla Hartman (Steve) along with his brother-in-law, David Crockett.
He was preceded in death by his father, sisters-in-law, Brenda and Kim Yorn, and daughter-in-law, Jessica Beamer.
Visitation will be Monday, May 15, 2023 from 4-7pm with funeral services at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 16th, all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville. Burial will be in the Batesville Methodist Cemetery.
