Judy Ann Brashars, 72, of Greensburg, passed away at 6:10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Aspen Place Health Campus. She was born on May 8, 1953, in Portland, Oregon, the daughter of James E. Hampton and Ruby E. (Montgomery) Bruneau. She moved to Greensburg in 1961 where she has been a resident ever since. She was a 1971 graduate of Greensburg High School and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Indiana Trail Riding Association. Judy retired from Valeo in 2002 after 8 years of service. She enjoyed her dogs, horses, crocheting and reading. Judy married Tim Brashars on November 20, 1995, in Greensburg. He preceded her in death on April 1, 2006. She is survived by her daughters, Nicole (Steve) White of Greensburg and Melissa (Richard) Denton of Jackson, Tennessee; a stepson, Tim Brashars Jr. of Greensburg; her niece, Mindy (Ron) Hardebeck of Needham, Indiana along with other nieces and great nephews and great nieces; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Serena Hampton; four sisters, Janet Chance, Lois Burns, Barbara Katausky and Wilma Latham and a granddaughter, Harlee Rose White. Following Judy’s wishes cremation will take place and there will be no visitation or service. Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport has been entrusted with the arrangements.
