Judith Ann Doyle, age 76, of Pleasanton, Texas, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026. The daughter of Edward and Georgia (Smith) Doyle was born on September 1, 1935, in Batesville, Indiana.
Judith grew up in Batesville and graduated from Batesville High School in 1953. She went on to become a teacher for life. First teaching school for the UMC Missions as a missionary. Then working for the Pleasanton Public Schools in Pleasanton, Texas, where she taught for many years until she retired. Judith enjoyed volunteering and working with children. She did a lot for her community, from volunteering at the food bank to reading to the second graders in Pleasanton.
She is survived by her siblings, Mary Jane Hughes, David Doyle and Richard Doyle, plus several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Audrey Hildebrand and Doris Hoffman, along with her brothers, John and Calvin Doyle.
Cremation was chosen, and burial will be in the Batesville United Methodist Church Cemetery. A memorial will be set for a later date at the First Baptist Church in Pleasanton, Texas.
