The fire of this wickedly humorous, DnD Master extraordinaire, pirate, artist, singing, sword swinging, dancing, acting, emphatic, master storyteller, goofy and loving Dad and husband has been extinguished.
Cancer he thought he had beaten once returned with a vengeance. Although he stubbornly hung on, it was too big of an obstacle for his body to overcome. John’s fire was extinguished on Jan 18, 2024.
We are devastated, heartbroken and left in disbelief.
John would want us to remember him for how he lived: a friend, always ready for a joke or pun, hard-working goofball, a joy as a son, loving husband and wonderful Dad. He encouraged his friends to follow their dreams and supported them in their pursuits.
He had so many interests, and his friends span a wide range of those. Theatre, Renfaire, DnD, and volunteering, all the way back to his elementary school friends.
John was extremely proud of becoming a father of two, and would love if you would share any memories, stories, or photos of him with his family, so we can create a book of his life for his young daughters.
The family has created a donation account for Amber and the girls.
