Jerry Lee Stanbrough

Jerry Lee Stanbrough, age 76, passed away in his home Monday, November 20, 2032, after a battle with cancer. Born in Indianapolis on August 6, 1947 to Gerald K. and Marion Stanbrough. Jeremy was a US Army veteran during Vietnam, a beloved, award-winning teacher and an avid painter. Jerry was also a supportive husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid train buff and technology enthusiast who enjoyed tinkering with the latest gizmos.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Marilyn, daughters Kelly Schaffer and Jody Blas (Vince), sons Mark Masavage (Heather) and J. Scott Schaffer (Andrea), and stepdaughters Sarah Blaum (Donna), Abbey Blaum, and Emily Langebartels (Chris); 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his first wife John Ann, Grandson Alec Masavage, Stepdaughter Rachel Hof, and Stepson Ross Jordan. He will be missed by all.

Graveside service is Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Batesville United Methodist Cemetery with Pastor John Vadeboncoeur officiating. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or mailed to at Meyers Funeral Home P.O. Box 202 Batesville, IN 47006.
