(Greensburg, IN) – The 8th annual Jaylyn Strong benefit takes place Saturday, July 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Greensburg’s Rebekah Park.
Proceeds benefit 14-year-old Jaylyn Mozingo, who has battled a variety of ailments since birth, including Cerebral Palsy.
She is confined to a wheelchair and has suffered a brain hemorrhage, and has also battled leukemia, which is in remission. Jaylyn has also suffered seizures and has been in and out of the hospital over the years.
The event features a car, truck, bike, and tractor show, with trophies awarded in each category.
Registration is from 9 until 11 a.m., with a $20 entry fee.
In addition, $10 will get you a meal consisting of fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, rolls, and soft drinks.
There will also be a bake sale, blood drive, and raffles, plus entertainment provided by Uncovered, a local band led by Willie Feldman.
