Janet Margaret (Tillett) Schiffmeyer, 87, of Moores Hill passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Manderley Health Care Center with her loving family by her side. Janet was born on Monday, March 7, 1938, in Cincinnati; daughter of John Albert Tillett and Marcella Catherine (Schiffmeyer) Tillett. Janet was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She enjoyed working, bowling, and traveling.
Janet will be missed by her sons Matthew Schiffmeyer of Moores Hill and Mark Schiffmeyer of Hiram, Georgia; daughter Sharon Ferrell of Rocky Mountain, North Carolina; brother John Lewis Tillett of Russellville, Ohio; grandchildren Thomas, Sean, Caitlin, Jason, and Fred; and great-grandchildren Magnolia and Sophie.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents John and Marcella Tillett; sister JoAnn Roat; and brother Michael Leonard Tillett.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery in Milan. Memorials may be given in honor of Janet to American Cancer Society or Masses at St. Charles Catholic Church.
