James Howard Weber, 79

James Howard Weber, 79 of Greensburg passed away on July 13, 2022. He was born on November 13, 1942 in Decatur County, the son of John “Jack” and Evelyn Myers Weber. James was a 1960 graduate of New Point High School. He married Debra Ann Myers on February 10, 1979. He worked at Johnson’s, Cummins, and was the owner of Jim Weber Trucking. James was a member of the Eagles and the American Legion.
Survivors include: Children, David (Rhonda) Weber, Donald Weber and Jenny (Eric Volz) Zapfe; Grandchildren, Cody (Courtney) Young, Lucinda (Nathan McKeehan) Madden, Christian Ward and Sebastian (Sierra Daughtery) Zapfe, Elliott Weber and Gavin Weber; Siblings, Steve (Chris Bennett) Weber and Jerry (Linda) Weber. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Jack and Evelyn Weber and Wife, Debra Weber.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral at 1:00 pm. at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Rev. Jon Porter will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Smyrna Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Our Hospice of Decatur County or to the American Cancer Society.
