James Arnold “Jimmy” Lewis Jr., 61, of Ohio passed away Monday, November 17, 2025. Jimmy was born on Monday, December 23, 1963, in Cincinnati; son of James Arnold Lewis Sr. and Dorothy (Scheid) Lewis. Jimmy worked for Funch Lumber. He enjoyed bowling, playing softball, and playing pool. Jimmy was an outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. Most of all Jimmy loved his family.
Jimmy will be missed by his son Brandon (Chelsea Neyer) Lewis of Delhi; daughter Tyann (Michael Lamb) Lewis of Hamilton; father James Arnold Lewis Sr. of Indiana; brother Robert Lewis of Aurora and Timothy “Tim” Lewis of Lawrenceburg; sisters Ruth Rucker of Dry Ridge, KY and Jenni (Curtis Sowders) McAdams of Milan; mother of children Ruth Lewis of Harrison; grandchildren Adalynn Lamb, Carsyn Neyer, and Carter Neyer; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Lewis.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. Services will be held at 11:00 AM. Memorials may be given in honor of Jimmy to the family.
