Jaiden Kuria threw a shutout in Batesville varsity baseball’s 11-0 defeat of Hauser on Tuesday.
Batesville would get the offense going early, scoring 4 runs in the first inning.
The offense carried over into the second inning, with the Bulldogs tallying four runs in the frame. The offensive firepower was led by Will Jaisle and Eli Loichinger, who recorded RBI in the inning.
Batesville finished the game with 11 hits. Schebler, Loichinger, and Chris Lewis each had multiple hits for Batesville Varsity Bulldogs
Kuria was credited with the victory for the Bulldogs. The righthander allowed three hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out five and walking zero.
Nathan Worland was on the pitcher’s mound for Hauser. The hurler lasted five innings, allowing 11 hits and 11 runs while striking out four.
