Jacqueline L. (Clark) Wamlsey, 86 of Greensburg

Our precious mother, Jacqueline L. (Clark) Wamsley, affectionately known as Jackie, passed away on October 31, 2024. Born to Rollie and Gladys Clark on April 18, 1938 in Buchanan, West Virginia. She married Max Wamsley April 27, 1954 who preceded her in death. Our mom was the strongest woman we’ve ever met. She wasn’t afraid of anything. She was a fierce Mama Bear who devoted her life to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. When anyone else would have broken, she stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Jackie as she offered the lesson of being tenacious and staying positive. Her family has been blessed to have had her love, and we will never forget her wit, charm and undying love in caring for each of them. She was very loved and will be missed terribly. Jackie never wanted to be the center of attention. In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later time. Jackie is survived by daughter, Gail (Larry) Walsman; daughter-in-law, Mary Wamsley, son, Randy Wamsley, and daughter, Ginger Brown all of Greensburg. Two very special children she thought about every day and loved with her whole heart, daughter Linda, and son Bobby Dale; grandchildren, Misty Coffey, Trisha (Brandon) Murray, Benjamin (Jenny) Wamsley, Richard Wamsley, Shannon (Tyler) Johnson, Adam Wamsley, Kelsi (Austin) Matherly, Bobby Brown, Cember Wamsley and Neffy Wamsley, plus 11 great grandchildren. All of whom she loved and touched deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Richard A Wamsley; daughter, Genia L Wamsley and grandson, Chad Wamsley. Friends wishing to honor Jackie are invited to make a donation in her name to Bass and Gasper Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
