Jacqueline Elaine Jung, age 83 of Sunman, Indiana passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021. The daughter of John J. and Edith (Jacquet) Hardiman was born on November 3, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated from Western Hills High School. On June 20, 1956, she married Charles ‘Skip’ R. Jung in Cincinnati and they celebrated over 57 years of marriage before he passed away in 2013.
Jackie as most knew her, liked working in the home being a home maker and caring for her family. She enjoyed time spent gardening out in the yard. Most of all she loved being with her family.
She is survived by her son, Michael W. Jung (Louise) of Sunman; and step-sons Harold Brinkman of Tennessee and Russell (Edwina) Callan of Osgood; 5 grandchildren, Samantha Smith, Tyler Jung, Mallory Doherty and Caleb Jung; and 4 great grandchildren, Wesson, Dillon, Matthew and Nathan.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles; and three sons, Scott, Todd and Jimmy Jung.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 2-4pm at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville.
