Jac-Cen-Del Volleyball gets rare win over Rising Sun

You would have to turn back the calendar several years to find the last time Jac-Cen-Del beat Rising Sun in volleyball.  But that happened on Monday night as the Eagles garnered a very nice 3-1 road victory over the Shiners: 24-26, 25-12, 25-19 and 25-22.

“We had solid effort all the way around,” said Eagle coach Cat Schmeltz. “The girls played with a confidence we have struggled with all season. It was nice to see all the hard work and dedication these kids have put in to finally be shown on the court for a full match. It was a nice win for our team and hopefully the starting point of finishing this season out strong.”
