History was made Saturday afternoon as the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles boys basketball team qualified for
Semi-State for the 2nd straight season, upsetting 6th-ranked Bethesda Christian at the 1A Martinsville Regional 61-59.
The Eagles battled back from 7-point halftime and 3rd-quarter deficits to advance to win their 2nd consecutive regional championship.
Matt Dickman scored a team-high 19 points for the Eagles.
