Greensburg, IN — There were no injuries reported following a house fire at the corner of Central and Davidson in Greensburg Tuesday morning.
An electrical issue in the attic touched off the fire.
City of Greensburg firefighters received assistance from the Letts Community Volunteer Fire Department, which used its Cellulose Insulation Vacuum to remove smoldering insulation in the attic.
Letts fire officials say their department is the only one in the area that has an insulation vacuum, which is used to remove smoldering insulation without causing too much damage to homes and other structures.
