The daily commute will soon be longer for those that travel a portion of U.S. 52. The road will be closed approximately a mile east of Brookville, near Orschell’s Curve beginning Wednesday afternoon.
The closure is near the area of Hyde, Little Cedar and Holland Road. State highway crews will close the section of road for an indefinite amount of time to repair slide off issues. It could exceed three weeks.
For those attending White’s Sale Barn Wednesday, the road should remain open in the early afternoon when they leave the flea market.
Official detour routes will be displayed from the Indiana Department of Transportation.
