Indiana stays red for another four years

Statewide — Governor Eric Holcomb won a second four-year term as Governor of Indiana. The Republican beat challengers Dr. Woody Myers and Donald Rainwater Tuesday to secure his second term as governor.

Gov. Holcomb and President Donald Trump both won victories in the state for Republicans very early on in the evening, along with the state attorney general’s race where Todd Rokita won.

In the race for the Us Congress District 6 seat, Congressman Greg Pence was once again victorious over Democratic candidate Jeannine Lee Lake.

All candidates in the State Senate and Congress ran unopposed in Southeastern Indiana. Senator Jean Leising, and Representatives Cindy Zeimke, Randy Frye, and Randy Lyness all were re-elected to a new 4-year term.
