(Miami Gardens, FL) – It’s gameday in South Florida, and Indiana is one win away from finishing one of the most unlikely championship runs in modern college football.

The Hoosiers and the Miami Hurricanes square off tonight for the College Football Playoff National Championship at Hard Rock Stadium, with Indiana entering the game favored by more than a touchdown.

Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti says the moment hasn’t changed his team’s approach.

“There’s been no novelty” to the event for his program, Cignetti said, adding that his group has stayed locked in mentally and has prepared for everything Miami may bring to the table.

It’s the latest step in a stunning rise under Cignetti, who has quickly reshaped Indiana into a team that looks comfortable on college football’s biggest stage. And now, the Hoosiers are just 60 minutes from the ultimate payoff.

Miami, though, is standing in the way — and the Hurricanes bring plenty of confidence of their own. They’re playing for a championship in their home stadium, and they’ll have the atmosphere, the familiarity, and the tradition of “The U” on their side.

But Indiana’s been unfazed by the scene all season.

The Hoosiers have built this run on composure, discipline, and the kind of belief that doesn’t need a pep talk once the lights come on. Indiana hasn’t acted like it’s happy to be here. The Hoosiers have played like they expect to win.

Tonight, it’s for the national title.

Kickoff at Hard Rock Stadium is set for 7:30 p.m. Eastern.
