Indianapolis, In. — The Libertarian Party made gains during the most recent midterm election. Mark Rutherford picked up 3.2 percent of the vote- that gives the party four more years of election ballot access.
In Henry County, Jamie Jo Owens was elected as Liberty Township Trustee and Terry Coffman was elected to the Liberty Township Board. In Wayne County, Cheryl Heacox was re-elected to the Clay Township Board. And in Montgomery County Dean Hartley was elected to the Franklin Township Board.
