(Statewide) – A stay at your local hospital could cost you an arm and a leg, according to the Rand Corporation.
The independent study group says costs for patients in Indiana are the eighth highest in the nation.
However, officials at various hospitals around the state deny that claim, saying the group only focused on one or two aspect of services, and that overall patient costs are actually down in most areas.
