INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — A new study by US News and World Report ranks Indiana’s Government the best in the Country.
That’s Senator Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg).
The study ranked all 50 states in seven different categories.
Indiana ranked first in Government and fourth in Opportunity.
Overall Indiana ranked 22nd in the study, mainly because the Hoosier state ranked 41st in Health Care, 33rd in Crime, and 27th in Education.
More weight was given to some measures over others, based on a survey of what matters most to people.
Health care and education were weighed the heaviest.
