Ind. Supreme Court rules in favor of worker law

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Supreme Court once again rejected a challenge to Indiana’s right-to-work law. The law bans non-members from paying mandatory fees.

Wednesday’s ruling overrules a lower court decision that found the measure unconstitutional.

Early last month, the high court also upheld the law as constitutional in a different case involving the same issues.

The United Steelworker union and International Operating Engineers filed lawsuits after the right-to-work law was passed in 2012.
