(Southeastern IN) – The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) has declared an Air Action Day until 11:59 pm Thursday.
The Air Action Day is in effect for Ripley, Decatur, Franklin, Dearborn, Ohio, and Switzerland counties.
Smoke from the Canadian wildfires continues to move slowly through Indiana.
As a result, particulates are expected to stay in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range.
Active children and adults and those with respiratory issues should limit prolonged outdoor exposure.
