South Ripley, Oldenburg and Switzerland County competed at the Madison Invitational. The host Cubs won both meets. Oldenburg took second in the girls while Switz was second in the boys.
Local individual firsts were recorded by Switzerland County’s Adrian Armstrong in two events along with Nathan Furnish and Kaelin Taylor in one each.
Locals grabbing seconds included: Oldenburg’s boys 200 medley relay, girls 200 free relay, Santiago Schutte and two by Amelia Austin; South Ripley’s Darcie Diem; and Switzerland County’s boys 200 free relay, both the girls and boys 400 free relays, Nathan Furnish, Caleb Ridener and two by Alisha Detmer.

East Central’s boys beat Connersville 147-32 while the Lady Spartans narrowly defeated EC 91-81.
Double individual event winners for the Trojans included: Tara Hall, Ray Krider, Nick Weber and Skyler Cavins. Single victories were scored by: Ayden Ketchem, Julia Bulach, Bree Cleary, Kane Rosfeld, and Kaden Cummins. The St. Leon swimmers also won four of six relays.
