Howard Stanley “Peg” Terrill, 82, of Guilford, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 in Lawrenceburg, IN.
He was born on November 3, 1933 to Lindsay and Gladys (Posey) Terrill at Dearborn County, Indiana.. Howard was in the Army and served his country . He worked as a Foreman for Schenley Distillery.
He was a member of the Aurora Keith Ross American Legion and the Aurora Eagles. He loved to play cards, 7-up and Euchre, ride around in the golf cart and go to auctions. Howard didn’t know a stranger. He enjoyed socializing, sharing stories and jokes with anyone within hearing distance. He also loved to spend time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed..
Howard is survived by his loving spouse of 62years, Corrine “Cody”, daughter, Delana Lynn Terrill of Aurora, Indiana; sons, Mark Howard Terrill of Lawrenceburg, IN, Michael Lane (Kyle) Terrill, Marshall David (Patty) Terrill, Brian Scott (Becky) Terrill, Andru Jason (Milissa) Terrill, all of Aurora, IN;17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by Father, Lindsay Terrill, Mother, Gladys Terrill and siblings,George, James, Aldine Terrill.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 22, 2016, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held following visitation at 7:00 pm, with Tom Largent, officiating. Honor Guard services will be conducted at the funeral home by local Military Veterans.
