(Holton, IN) – The Holton Water Corporation has issued a Boil Advisory that is in effect until further notice for some customers due to a water main extension.
Those affected by the advisory are customers on South Old Michigan Road; south of West County Road 250 South; West County Road 350 South, and South County Road 600 West.
A boil advisory is a precautionary measure issued by the water utility to alert customers when there is a potential for compromised water quality.
It is recommended that you boil all water used in the preparation of food and beverages for consumption for two minutes.
Water used for laundry, showering, or shaving is safe to use without boiling.
