PENNTOWN, IN — A 47-year-old Holton man was listed in fair condition following a rollover accident just after 12 pm Thursday.
The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office says James Miller was driving a white 2008 Ford Ranger onto eastbound I-74 from the State Road 101 ramp.
When he got to the bottom of the ramp, Miller’s vehicle slid into the guardrail on the shoulder of I-74 and flipped several times before coming to rest on its top.
Miller was taken from the scene by Rescue 20 with complaints of pain.
The right lane of the interstate was temporarily closed while Buckley’s Towing from Batesville removed the vehicle.
Deputy Bryan Redick with the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office investigated.
He was assisted by Ripley County Communications, Sunman Rescue 20, Sunman Fire and Rescue, and Indiana State Police.
