FRANKLIN COUNTY, IN — The Franklin County School Board this week approved the appointment of Kati Holman as the District 3 representative.
District 3 is comprised of Brookville Township, Precincts 1, 2, and 3; Butler Township, Precinct 1, and Highland Township, Precinct 1.
Holman replaces the late Justin Moore, who was killed in October in a workplace accident in Union County.
This is the second time this year the Franklin County School Board has had to fill a vacancy.
Secret Brougher resigned in September after serving eight months on the board following her election to the school board last November.
Francis Brumback was appointed in October to fill that vacancy.
