Holden Isaac Ray was born on Monday, July 22, 2024 to his loving parents, Douglas North Ray and Gabrielle “Gabby” Alexis-Anderson Bowen at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Holden went to his heavenly home at 11:40 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 in the arms of his Mommy and Daddy.
Holden will be missed by his heart broken parents, Douglas North Ray and Gabrielle “Gabby” Alexis-Anderson Bowen of Vevay, IN; his maternal-grandparents, Shaun & Kimberly Bowen of Sanders, KY and Mike & Jessica Wilkerson of Henry County, KY; his paternal-grandparents, Eric Ray of Vevay, IN and Katina & Gary Cain of near Moorefield, IN; his maternal-great-grandparents, Darlene Bowen of Newark Valley, NY and Kathy & Dean Wilkerson of Pilot Grove, MO; his paternal-great-grandparents, William “Doug” Ray of Vevay, IN, James C. “Jimmy” Leap of Vevay, IN and Chester Cain of Vevay, IN; maternal-great-great-grandmother, Norma Johnson of Pilot Grove, MO; his aunts and uncles, Cameron & Tylor Works, Carter Ray, Lauren Bowen, Cheyenne Bowen, Piper Bowen, Isabella Bowen, Sara Wilkerson and Rebecca Wilkerson; his great-aunts and uncles, Jerry Ray, Paul & Lisa Ray, Stacie & Steve Helton, Kathleen Carter, Eric Bowen, Scott Bowen, Brad Wetherbee, Missy Anderson and Marry Anderson and his cousins, Evelenia & Oliver Works.
Holden was preceded in death by his paternal-great-grandparents, Barbara Mae (Wiley) Ray, Evelenia “Jane” (Beach) Leap, Nancy Ann (Andrew) Cain and Ronald Carter; his maternal-great-grandparents, Ronald Bowen, Jim Anderson and Elizabeth West; his maternal-great-great-grandfather, Herbert Johnson; his paternal-great-uncle, Jerry Dean Bruce; his paternal-great-great-uncles, Danny Ray and Larry Ray and his maternal-great-great-uncle, Cliff Johnson.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., by Rev. Scott Elston at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.
