MIAMI– Former Batesville Bulldog pitcher Bryan Hoeing looked very sharp last weekend.
The pitcher who got quite a bit of attention earlier this summer when the Miami Marlins needed him to start a few games, was back in his relief role, and really provided his club some relief.
Hoeing threw 3 scoreless innings at the Milwaukee Brewers, and racked up his first official win of this major league baseball season, the Marlins prevailing 7-3.
Bryan’s stat line’s now highlighted not so much by his 1 & 2 record, though it’s nice to have a win there, but by his stingy ERA of only 2.70.
