BATESVILLE – A partnership between two companies may make it easier for healthy food to be more convenient and accessible for Batesville employees.
Hillenbrand, Inc. has agreed with Green BEAN Delivery as a corporate health and wellness partner.
Green BEAN Delivery, an online home delivery service that provides organic produce and natural groceries and will serve as a new employee resource for Hillenbrand associates.
Green BEAN Delivery’s corporate health and wellness program encourages a community-based approach to health and wellness in the workplace.
On Tuesday, Green BEAN Delivery kicked off the new partnership by providing two educational seminars to employees about the importance of eating well. During the seminars, the company highlighted the value of eating organically and locally.
“At Hillenbrand, we place an important emphasis on the health and wellness of our associates,” Director of HR Global Services Julie Joerger said in a press release. ”Partnering with Green BEAN Delivery is yet another example of Hillenbrand’s commitment to providing associates with the education, options and resources they need to live a healthy lifestyle. Ultimately, this program furthers our promise to support the communities in which we work and live.
Green BEAN Delivery was founded in Indianapolis in 2007 by husband and wife team Matt Ewer and Elizabeth Blessing.
