BATESVILLE – Two construction projects are expected to be underway this fall at the Hillcrest Golf Course.
On Tuesday, city officials approved Paul H. Rohe Company as the contractor responsible for sewer work that will be done in the area. The company offered the lowest base bid to the city at $137,403. The city will be reimbursed from the state after completion.
Construction could likely begin September 15. Hillcrest Bridge on S.R. 229 is not expected to be closed during the sewer work.
Following the completion of the project the Indiana Department of Transportation will conduct a bridge replacement there. Mayor Rick Fledderman says the road work could start October 1. It will result in a temporary bridge closure.
