BATESVILLE — Road construction is getting underway near the Hillcrest Golf Course in Batesville.
Paul Rohe Company began a sewer project in the area Monday which does not impact travel on S.R. 229.
The bridge will be closed by the end of September for an Indiana Department of Transportation Project. Project officials say the road will be closed on September 29.
Road work is estimated to last 55 days and detour routes will be posted.
