Highest weekend count since late April of COVID-19 Statewide

Statewide —The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) says that another 560 cases of coronavirus were recorded on Sunday. To date, 51,612 Hoosiers have contracted the disease since the beginning of March.
Four new deaths were also verified, bringing the state’s total to 2,567 residents who have died from the virus.
ISDH records show that in the last three days over 2000 additional cases of COVID-19 in Indiana have been documented. It is the highest three-day outbreak since late April.
Locally Dearborn County has a total of 265 cases and 23 deaths reported, Decatur County has a total of 256 positive cases and 32 deaths, Franklin County has 128 positive cases and 8 deaths, and Ripley County has 134 positive cases and 7 deaths according to numbers reported to the Indiana State Department of Health. That is an increase of 30 news cases locally since Friday
